There’s a certain charm to this, and I’m not sure what it is exactly. Possibly the barbershop quartet style harmonies on "Don’t Be Mad With Me, Spike" or the vaguely Dead Kennedeysness of "Where Did I Sleep Last Night?" It also sounds a bit like The Kaiser Chiefs, which is much less good.
