TesseracT have announced that Dan Tompkins is their new vocalist. He was formerly in the band First Signs Of Frost.
Their new album "One" is expected to be released in 2010.
Dan said "It’s an incredible, exciting and rare privilege to be fronting TesseracT. The pieces fit and everything has fallen into place perfectly. It’s been such a challenge to write vocals for such emotional and complex music, an opportunity of which I’ve waited so long for. I’ve pushed boundaries and I'm proud to say that the vocals on this album are the best I’ve ever written. It all sounds immense"
Bassist Mos said: "We knew from the first 20 second demo that he would be perfect. TesseracT is all about 3 things; experimentation, musical emotion and groove. Dan manages to stay true to all of those ideals, whilst still connecting the listener to the music on a human level. Everything he writes challenges us, surprises us and excites us."
