We're in shiny, anodised metal territory. If it were possible for metal to be 'crisp', that would be the ideal description. 'Crisp Metal' is unlikely to take off as a sub-genre, though, so let's just say that the sounds here are so sharp your girlfriend could do her bikini-line with them. There's not an original growl or chug to be heard but who cares? The fact that this band of Italians manages to make this kind of racket without sounding like they love themselves far more than the songs should be praise enough. If only the same could be said about some of the bands Notanumber are predictably compared with; In Flames, Bullet For My Valentine, Killswitch Engage, etc., etc. You get the idea, I'm sure. Well worth a listen.
