North Atlantic Oscillation - Grappling Hooks

Ears tickled by last year's Callsigns EP or the more recentDrawing Maps From Memory single will not be disappointed by this, the debut long slog by Caledonian button-pushers North Atlantic Oscillation. It's modern Psychedelia without being shite. You're perfectly safe on this space journey, my cool-addicted little friends. Where bands like Yeasayer throw the kitchen sink at the studio and hope everyone's too arch to question them, the 'Oscillation put in the graft required to sculpt true beauty. Muse may trot off and play to pseuds in their private enormo-domes, now. This band channel the spirit of Pink Floyd through the Flaming Lips and Mogwai to produce something other than else.
