Priestess - Prior To The Fire

Apparently there was an 'explosion' of music in the city of Montreal during 2003. I must say, I didn't hear anything from this side of 'the Pond', but Priestess are categorically not part of that sonic boom's fallout, anyway. They've got a track on a Guitar Hero game, for rock's sake. Which should tell you all you need to know about this 'difficult second album' of theirs, really. Thin Lizzy fans who have spent the past fifteen years wondering what their favourite band would sound like with a budget Chris Cornell as their lead singer need look no further before succumbing to further dementia. In summary; waggle that nostalgia switch until it snaps off in your greasy fingers, fill a bucket with lager, pretend it's a Watney's Party Seven and bang your head until the kids piss themselves. Should take about two minutes. Let's rock!
