Some uncompromisingly hard-hitting and heavy-set rifferama from Red Mist on this, their third EP. It's not doing anything new but I'm not sure many in the metal fraternity particularly care, these days. This band give the crowd what they want - face-crushing, punchy metal with a decidedly 'old school' edge. The vocals are scratchy at times but then it does sound like the guy is trying to bring up his own bowels. In summary; dark clouds with a hint of thunder.
