This little track has come along at the right time, it would seem. Summer's arrived, so Beach Boys harmonies are required. And Phil Spector's in prison, so he'll need a bit of cheering up and evidence of why he matters musically at the moment, I would suspect. Enter No And The Maybes, who have seemingly managed to combine Pet Sounds with the Cardigans. Your nose may already be turning toward your forehead but wait - any band who say they are 'on a mission to save and reclaim the catchy melody from wedding singers and the Eurovision Song Contest' are surely worth three minutes of any right-thinking person's life. A couple of listens and you may wish to give them a few more.
