If this is the sort of thing that is 'grabbing the attention' of the music industry, then it's in worse shape than I thought - if the lead track is anything to go by, at least. Idiot Room comes across as a turgid Jesus Jones / Carter USM stomp, purloining the riff to Spirit In The Sky to no great effect. Thankfully, things are saved (as they so often are) by the companion track. Awaking Times sounds like another band entirely, a quietly soaring acoustic ramble with electro clang, stab and woof. The vocals are a bit weak but that's never stopped anyone before, now, has it?
