I am going to start this by saying that comparing themselves to The Cure, The Clash, The Police and Radiohead when they sound virtually nothing like them is a bit odd. The Broadcasts basically sound like everything that is current in indie rock, so a bit Razorlight, a bit Automatic and lot samey, samey. The songs are good and well written, it's just the medium of Indie has a plethora of bands that sound like this so it's difficult to get excited about this band. Stand out track for me is Sharp Knife as it has the best hooks.
