Warning: Rick Wakeman plays on this album. Don't worry, though. Sabbath may be turning the self-indulgence knob to eleven but the results are still wonderful. You can see where metal's early antipathy to keyboards began, though, listening to the likes of Sabbra Cadabra. It's like Jools Holland jamming with Slayer. It's just wrong. However, the riffs, atmosphere and thump are still present and the remastering once again warms things up perfectly - ideal for an album begun in a castle dungeon. Best enjoyed wearing a tasselled suede jacket (and nothing else), floating in a bath of vodka, with a cocaine atomiser.
