This band are 'ushering in a new era of Brit-pop', apparently. One from Dublin, in fact. And one which sounds suspiciously like all the other 'Brit-Pop' eras, i.e. slightly psychedelic tuneage (leaning quite heavily towards the Black Rebel boys, if this single's anything to go by - top 'Brit-Pop', there) with Ashcroft / Power vocals. It's alright (good grief, I'm going 'Brit-Pop', now) but not so long ago there was a band like this in every pub in England. I blame the resurgence of My Bloody Valentine, et. al. And Doctor Who. Him and his blue box.
