I don't know about you, but when a band kicks off their PR with how big they are in Japan, alarm bells sound in my head. Well, I say 'big' but Vegas Nights don't even say that, really - they 'have the Japanese music market watching their moves'. Whatever that means. They do sound like a band that would be popular there, though, what with their breezy melodies and ba-ba-ba harmonies. If a real Japanese band covers either tune on here, I can see them ending up on the soundtrack of the next Katamari game. As for the original (Scottish) band, they're pleasant enough, if a bit turgid in places. Watch this space - if it's not already on a plane to Tokyo.
