Gus Garcia is an acousto-singer-songwriter from Surrey who has delivered an alternative to the sun soaked gleeful twattery of Jack Johnson and his ilk in his three track E.P. "Many Hiding Places".

Originally from Brazil, his roots show in the first track "Colleagues" which has combines Crosby Stills & Nash vocals and a skanking rhythm, backed by "Before The Winter" which has a country plod a familiar Gruff Vedder feel to it. The brooding "Menace" has a touch of QOTSA at their most haunting and with any luck Gus Garcia could be Radio 2's next big thing; like Paolo Nutini but not as teeth achingly annoying. You heard him here first people.
