Over produced, shiny as fook, melodic, modern rock/nu-metal. It's a wonder this style is still so popular. In fact I don’t even know if it is. The fact that major labels seem to release it on a regular basis gives me that impression. Dead April have everything going for them on this one; sweet production, routine PR backing, melodic chops but the one thing it is lacking is any sort of backbone. It's as limp as Christopher Reeve in strip club.
I once met this guy years ago, years and years ago, that loved this one Linkin Park ballad so much that he claimed he would have his first dance at his wedding to it. And I later found out he did. That tool is the sort of person who likes this.
