Somehow, even though 'Chelsea Dagger' has been played to death (It's used as goal celebration music by half the football teams in Britain) and last single 'Mistress Mabel' was awful, The Fratellis still remain stupidly popular. They're creeping up on the headliner spot at most festivals this summer; they were on the soundtrack to 'Hot Fuzz' twice; and their first album gone platinum three times, 'Here We Stand' will probably follow it too. All while not being very exciting, interesting or as good as many of their lesser-selling peers.
'Look Out Sunshine!' sounds like their attempt at creating a song like 'Fluorescent Adolescent', or at least a festival sunset sing-along that isn't as bad as 'Whistle For The Choir'. With its Britpop chorus, it sounds like three (Not very good) Oasis songs mashed together and gets messy when they try and do some Beatles style harmonies towards the end. It's like every Fratellis song you've heard already but, as Jon Fratelli sings, "I'm much too lazy to change".
