Songstress Rosabella Gregory has been in the music industry for a long time, with her sister Dina, but the album 'Everything Comes Together' is a successful solo project from this purveyor of piano-pop. The album contains some good songs, including the single 'Water', 'Better love next time' (with some lovely string arrangements) and 'Love the Man'. There are some lyrical issues in some songs, I struggle to find interest in some of them, however Rosabella is capable of penning some gems!
It's obvious that the focus here is Rosabella's beautiful voice and nicely understated piano playing. The recordings have been put together with respect and justice to the music and it works very well. There's also something very 'musical theatre' in here as well, that reminds me slightly of songwriters like Jason Robert Brown and Steve Margoshes.
Whilst there are some lyrical issues, this album is a promising addition to Rosabella Gregory's impressive career.
