The last time I had the pleasure of reviewing The Feeling, was for a student newspaper. I may well have compared them to Nazis and having the ability to make Third World children cry. It to date has been one of my slightly more controversial pieces. I still maintain however that The Feeling essentially is 'music for idiots, by idiots'.

'Turn It Up' is just yet another slice of the perfect middle of the road by numbers indie that so many other artists are peddling in the mainstream. A piano led ditty, which plods along at such an alarmingly slow pace, that if it were an elderly OAP you'd fear it was about to collapse and die. So unremarkable is the song, that bar the vocalists slightly annoying whine I struggle to really remember if anything has happened in the previous three and a half minutes.

I of course realise that despite this The Feeling will continue to delight those who settle for bland and average. This rather succinctly brings me back to my initial statement.
