Luckily for me I am old enough to remember bands like Dearly Beheaded and Zentrix. British thrash metal of the late 80’s to early 90’s. Chokehold would have probably been pretty well received back then if this CD were released at that time. Sadly it's not that time any more and there is no need for really limp metal chugging these days. Chokehold can play their instruments, quite well in fact. Sadly they're backed by a sound and songs that are weak and completely lacking any power whatsoever. Then the vocals come in.
In fact the highlight of this was the intro (Intended or not) of a mobile phone making that beeping noise when it's next to an amp and the helicopter sample half-way through.
