An Italian Reggae band relocated to London should be a recipe for a 1970s sit-com, rather than one of the top debuts of 2009. But 'tis the latter we have with thud-futurists Dubterror, who have produced one of those albums which is of such consistent high quality that you'll find yourself sticking it on, maxing the bass and hitting the 'repeat all' button for the rest of the weekend. Picking the stand-outs is nigh impossible; Mr. Terror's catchy swing? Technology's refreshing bash of humanity's almost carnal relationship with gizmos and the Internet? Reload Warrior's mogadon drum n' bass and Warrior Queen's iron spit? It's all good, truly.
