Isn't it funny how a band can disappear completely but still release music? It's true, just ask The Datsuns. Since their successful self-titled album in 2002, I've not heard a whisper out of them. So when their new single "Human Error" landed on my desk, I thought "I wonder where they've been?". As it turns out, they haven't been anywhere and have, in fact, released two albums!! Good job I did my research before writing this review!!

So, The Datsuns are about to release their 4th album "Head Stunts" in October but first, they've give us a new single to digest. "Human Error" really sees The Datsuns doing what they do best, ripping out some intense, ball breaking, punky rock n roll. "Human Error" is whirlwind of foot tapping, face tearing riffage that sounds a little bit like The Hives playing Pro Evo with the White Stripes*.

So, "Human Error" definitely whets the appetite for the forthcoming album & is definitely something you should get your ears round.

I'd also recommend catching them on tour because they are really good live.

* Obviously The Hives would win because we all know girls can't play Pro Evo.
