An update from Matt of The Starting Line:
"Hello everyone...
Long time no talk! Just wanted to fill you in on some things and check in. So first things first, as you know TSL have been on break for a few months now, it’s been interesting to say the least. I found myself at a crossroads of sort, trying to figure out what my next step is (do I fall back on my college degree, play music, work in the industry, or because a male escort and post nudes of myself on craigslist)...
Well a few weeks back, I started working at Red Light Management in NYC, and to be honest, I couldn’t be happier. I still get to be creative, and sleeping in the same bed every night is amazing. I also started managing Hit the Lights a while back, I can’t tell you how much this band restores my faith in music...they wrote a record that I truly love, and are some of the best dudes ever. Their record ’Skip School, Start Fights’ came out today, and I suggest you check it out if you haven’t already: www.myspace.com/hitthelights
We’re also still working out all the specifics with this TSL DVD that you may have heard a little about. We decided to bring some camera guys on the road with us during our last tour and we also shot the live show at the Electric Factory in Philly. We did some confessionals and I think after you all see, you’ll understand why we needed this break.
I def miss you guys, hopefully we’ll play some shows here or there or hit the road again one day! Thanks again for all the amazing memories...
