Are this band going through the motions or simply too cool for themselves? They want to be compared with the Rolling Stones. Unfortunately, Jagger has more swing in one of his greying pubes than this track has in its whole two minutes. Stomp, stomp it goes. Woo-oo-oo, go the lethargic backing vocals. Hey, I'm singing a bit distorted like the Strokes did, goes the singer. The press churn out the usual auto-plaudits, so presumably enough sheep will cough up. I'm off to listen to some ditchwater.
